Nigerian Singer, Runtown Slams Dilly Umenyiora Over Alleged Court Order

“You think after 9 years, I’ll give you passwords and access to my catalogue?” — Singer, Runtown slams Dilly Umenyiora over a purportedly ‘fake court order.’

Nigerian singer, Douglas Agu popularly known as Runtown, has reacted after a court order reportedly reaffirming his recording agreement with Eric Many Records, a label owned by businessman Okwudili "Dilly" Umenyiora.

In a post shared on his official X account, Runtown questioned why he would hand over access to his music catalogue after years of being in a legal dispute with the said record label.

“You think after 9 years, I’ll give you passwords and access to my catalogue?” he wrote, apparently dismissing claims surrounding the court order as phoney.

The latest development comes after a Federal Capital Territory High Court reportedly ruled that Runtown’s 2016 recording agreement with Eric Many remains valid and binding.
