Nigeria Police Arrest actor, Henry Blaq over New Movie
Fast-rising Nollywood actor and producer popularly known as Henry Blaq, has allegedly been arrested by the Nigeria Police for trying to lead the Police right with his new movie.
The incident emanated after the actor and producer completed the shoot of his recent movie titled "The Super Cop 2 - (The Sequel)" meant to premiere on Goldblaq TV on YouTube.
The portrayal of the movie surrounds a cop at a Police outstation who is determined to raise the curtains for the Paramilitary at his place of duty.
However, it can be recalled that Henry Blaq had just successfully completed the prequel of the said movie barely some months ago before venturing into this sequel which now got him deep into the waters by his pronounced arrest from the men of the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement from the IPO who has taken charge of the case, he pointed:
"You can go ahead and make your movies, but, you don't lead us right. You don't tell the Police how to operate. We do the things we do by the dictates of those in charge, not you. If there is bribery, corruption somewhere, it's not your business."
In the meantime, investigation has shown that Henry Blaq was arrested in Asaba and taken to Enugu for trying to foster an "unpermitted" reform and re-orientation of the Nigeria Police with his yet-to-be-released movie (of the aforementioned title).
